how do you deal with a crackhead brother living in your house?
can anyone relate? how do you deal with his sorry, low-life, Lazy ass? don’t you ever feel like drug users should all just die? and don’t talk to me about rehab because our POOR family has spent 6,000+ for his detox but nothing worked–our hopes our a good family trying to build up our loser brother never worked! my family is so poor we still had him live with us even though he shoudl be on the dirty streets! i hate drug users and i hate him! what woudl you do? PLZ help me

You can’t fix an addict from the outside. Just say ‘no.’ Don’t give him money, don’t pay his utilities, don’t loan him your car, don’t bail him out of jail, don’t buy groceries for him, don’t buy gas for his car. He’ll bleed you and your family dry, and it’ll never be enough.
